オールスターウィークエンドのラストを締めくくるメインイベントのオールスターゲーム。75回目の区切りのいい節目を迎えた今回は「アメリカ代表 vs 世界選抜」という新フォーマットのもとで華々しく、盛り上がりを見せました。12分1クォーター制という短期決戦で行われた4試合すべてが目を離せず、接戦も多かった中、見事優勝を果たしたのはアメリカ代表の若手中心に編成されたTeam Stars。そして栄えある“コービー・ブライアントMVP”に輝いたのはアンソニー・エドワーズでした。
